The First Circle (Short film)
CO-DIRECTOR, EDITOR
When Death (and his head of research and development) stage an intervention for a fake news-peddling journalist, she ends a doomed relationship to save her soul.
The fate of her soul, however, is the least of Death’s worries.
Premiering at the San Jose International Short Film Festival, The First Circle’s story straddles real-life and the afterlife, exploring contemporary themes including surveillance and notions of the deep state to reveal how, if "grief is the price we pay for love", contagion is the price we pay for connection.
Awards:
Winner, Best Short Film - Rosarito International Film Festival
